Behavior Analytic training and education often focuses heavily on intensive technical knowledge and behavior analysts can sometimes miss opportunities to hone and grow relationship-developing skills that could be an important factor in collecting quality data, building rapport, improving supervision, establishing buy-in and working across cultural and interdisciplinary divides. This event seeks to draw from compassionate communication and self-reflection practices across neighboring disciplines to provide a behavior analytic framework for developing new reflection and collaboration skills.
Preparation Activities: To maximize the benefits of this workshop, attendees are encouraged to pre-read the article and prepare for active discussion.
